6th Form Qualifications

All courses in Key Stage 5 are award bearing and the students are able to gain the following qualifications as appropriate to their needs.  

Examination courses are assessed internally and moderated externally.

Each student has personal and academic targets and these are reviewed regularly.

• Entry Level This is for students operating at previous Levels 1-3 of the National Curriculum.
• Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) qualification This is offered at Level 2 and is equivalent to 2 GCSE qualifications at grades A* - C.  This is also offered at Level 1 and Entry Level 2 and 3.

• Edexcel Functional Skills in English, Ascentis Mathematics and WJEC Functional skills in ICT These are offered at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2.
• ASDAN These are offered at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2.
